Requesting a Gate Pass
Gate passes may be requested for a non-ticketed companion for:
- Unaccompanied minors
- Translation assistance for speakers of other languages
- Customers requiring assistance related to a disability
- We provide escort from point to point only; we do not provide constant supervision
- Requests must be made at the airport during check-in by providing the name of the person for pick-up
Gate passes are issued based on TSA's discretion and security recommendation. They are not guaranteed. You can check availability at the JetBlue airport ticket counter. The person requesting the gate pass will need to have their government-issued photo identification with them.
Gate passes are not available in the following situations:
- To meet someone at the gate when their flight is arriving from an international location.
- To accompany someone to the gate for flights departing from a city outside the United States.
