Common Booking Issues
Payment issues
If your credit card is not working, try the following:
- Disable any pop-up blocker(s).
- Check to make sure you have enough left in your line of credit.
- You might have a limit to how much you can spend on one transaction or during a specific period of time.
- Check the security settings on the payment portion of your credit card.
Helpful payment tips:
- If you have 15 minutes or more of inactivity while trying to book a flight, your session might time out. Please start from the beginning and complete the transaction without pausing.
- You may use a maximum of 2 forms of payment in a single transaction.
- Credit card + points
- Credit card + travel credit
- If you need to pay with two or more credit cards or multiple forms of payment for your reservation, please contact us.

JetBlue’s Network
- JetBlue flies to over 100 destinations in the U.S., Latin America, Caribbean and Europe.
- If you don’t see your desired trip, that route might be seasonal or the connection times might not match up. Visit the Best Fare Finder to see available dates.

Family seats
Want to sit next to your children when you fly? We'll automatically place children 13 years old and younger with an accompanying adult, if seats are available, prior to check-in.

- Start your search.
- Be sure the top left corner of the search form under “Feeling fly today?” says Roundtrip.
- To change this, click the top left corner and select your trip type. You can choose from Roundtrip, One-way or Multi-city.
- When searching for a flight, roundtrip is often the default.
For Blue Basic fares:
If you have a Blue Basic fare, prior to 24 hours before departure, you can reserve seats for a fee. If you choose not to reserve seats, you will be auto-assigned seats at no charge within 24 hours of departure if available. You can change auto-assigned seats for a fee.
For Blue, Blue Plus, Blue Extra, or Mint fares:
You can select your seats during booking or sign into Manage Trips at any time.

If you booked your trip through JetBlue but are traveling on another airline for part of your trip, you will not be able to book those other airline seats on jetblue.com. Please see the other airline’s website to manage that leg of your trip.
Family seating:
Want to sit by your kids when you fly? We’ve now automated the family seating process, and it auto-seats any children ages 13 and under with an accompanying adult as early as booking time, if seats are available.
EvenMore®, Preferred and extra legroom seats:
Anyone can purchase EvenMore®, extra legroom, and Preferred seats during booking or in Manage Trips.

To help us accommodate your unique travel needs and provide an exceptional JetBlue experience, we recommend you book your travel as soon as possible and add a Special Service Request (SSR). You can add an SSR when you book online at jetblue.com or with our free app.

You can now purchase flights as far out as 331 days from the date of booking at any time. Our flight schedules will automatically extend day-by-day. Check out our Best Fare Finder to see if we have flights scheduled during your desired dates for a chosen route.
