What to know about Cash + Points
For starters, Cash + Points saves you cash. And it’s ideal when you’re short on points for a trip you’re eyeing, or you just don’t have a lot of points but still want to go somewhere. And if you do have a high points balance but are saving up for something—or just want to stretch them (we see you, points hoarders!)—Cash + Points makes it easy to have your points and use them, too. Just use the handy slider widget to choose your preferred combination of cash and points during payment (starting at just 500 points).
No. You can select your usual method of payment for the “cash” portion, including major credit card. (Any fees must be charged to a credit card). And don’t forget that if you pay with a JetBlue card, you’ll earn bonus TrueBlue points on the cash portion, as well as enjoying the additional perks that come with your card.
Booking with Cash + Points
Yes. Select "Explore Best Fare Finder" below. Once you’ve selected a specific date, flight and fare type, you can use the handy slider to customize your payment—starting with as little as 500 TrueBlue points. Please note that you may need to sign in to your TrueBlue account to access Cash + Points options.
Yes. As is the case with full-point redemptions, multi-city bookings are eligible for Cash + Points redemptions.
No. At this time, Cash + Points can only be used to pay for JetBlue-operated flights.
Yes. Just like when you pay for a flight with all TrueBlue points, you can use Cash + Points for any JetBlue-operated flight, any time—with no blackout dates.
Yes. Cash + Points is a great way to purchase a Mint seat, especially when you’re short on points (or cash).
