Check in before you go. Our website and the JetBlue mobile app make it easy to check yourself in—as well as the other travelers on your reservation—with just a few clicks or taps.
Add the extras in advance
You could add discounted bags, pets, wheelchairs, change seats, purchase EvenMore® seats, extra legroom, add priority security, and even add your TrueBlue or Known Traveler numbers if you didn’t add them when you booked your trip.
You can add extras purchased with points any time before check-in in Manage Trips on jetblue.com, or in My Trips on the JetBlue app.
To add extras or confirm details and documents on your reservation:
Go to the Manage Trips page, add your reservation details, click enter, then select from the links at the top of the page:
- Assign or upgrade your seats using the Seats link.
- Add checked bags and pets to your reservation through the Bags & Extras link.
- Add wheelchairs, travel documents, a phone number, TSA PreCheck Known Traveler Numbers and service requests through the Traveler Details link.
- Only one email address can be saved per reservation.
- If you need to change your email address, please contact us for assistance.
Save on checked bag fees
When you add your checked bags in advance (more than 24 hours before departure) you save on checked bag fees. Save $10¹ each on your first 2 checked bags for flights within the U.S., Latin America, Caribbean, and Canada or $5/£5/€5 each on transatlantic flights by adding them before check-in (more than 24 hours before departure).

Need a reminder?
If you booked directly with JetBlue, we’ll send you a reminder email (and an alert on our mobile app, if you opted in), to remind you when it’s time to check in. In the event that online or mobile app check-in is unavailable, customers must check in at the airport kiosk or ticket counter.
Is your flight delayed?
If your flight is showing as delayed, we recommend that you still arrive at the airport for the originally scheduled departure time. We try to depart as close to this time as possible and if conditions allow, the estimated departure time for your flight could be moved up.

Applies to bookings made on or after 2/1/24. For bookings made before 1/11/24, the fee for the first bag is $35 within 24 hours of departure or $30 if more than 24 hours before departure. For bookings made between 1/11/24 and 1/31/24, the fee for the first bag is $40 within 24 hours of departure or $35 if more than 24 hours before departure.
