New York metro weather fee waiver

Severe weather is expected across the New York metro and may affect travel. We will waive change/cancel fees and fare differences for customers traveling on JetBlue-operated flights Monday, July 27 through Tuesday, July 28, 2026, to/from the following cities:
- Long Island/Islip, NY (ISP)
- New York, NY (JFK)
- New York, NY (LGA)
- Newark, NJ (EWR)
- Westchester County, NY (HPN)
Customers may rebook their flights for travel through Saturday, August 1, 2026, online in the manage trips section of jetblue.com prior to the departure time of their originally scheduled flight. Customers with cancelled flights may also opt for a refund to the original form of payment. Original travel must have been booked before Sunday, July 26, 2026.
If your reservation is part of a group booking of 10 or more people, you must call 1-800-JetBlue (538-2583) to make changes to your reservation.
Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Weather Refund Information

Do I need to request a refund?
If your JetBlue-operated flight was canceled due to the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic weather event between July 18 and July 22, 2026, and your travel was not completed, no action is needed on your part to receive a refund.
Refunds will automatically begin processing seven days after your original flight date and will be issued to your original form of payment.
Already requested a refund?
If you have already requested a refund using the link provided by JetBlue, your request is already in process. There is no need to submit another request or contact Customer Support.
Refund requests are expected to be completed within seven days of the date your request was submitted.
