Redeeming Points

Once you have enough TrueBlue points for an award flight, redeeming is easy:

• Start a flight search on jetblue.com or the JetBlue app. Check out all our airline partners here for even more redemption options.
• Select the “Use TrueBlue points” checkbox and then select search flights.  
• The search results will display points required for a 100% points redemption.  
• For JetBlue operated flights: See details in the section below on how to access Cash + Points for flight redemptions. 
• For partner operated flights: Cash + Points redemptions are not available on award travel bookings solely operated by our partner airlines. Redemptions made on partner airline operated itineraries requires a 100% points redemption.
• Note only 2 forms of payment (max) are allowed with redemption bookings (Ex. Paying with travel credit and TrueBlue points together for a booking). Inventory is entirely at the operating carrier’s discretion and availability is not guaranteed and can be modified at any time, all fares are subject to change.

Just as regular fares vary, the points required for an award flight will also vary depending on the destination, day of the week, season, and advance booking window.

Certain flights require more points and higher government taxes/fees to redeem award travel. The number of points required for a particular flight is based on the published base fare at the time of booking, which depends on, among other things, the flight chosen and applicability of peak travel periods. Taxes and fees apply to award flights, are the responsibility of the passenger, and will vary based on your departure and destination cities. For domestic award flights, taxes/fees are $5.60 for one-way and $11.20 for roundtrip flights. For international award flights, taxes/fees range from $5.60-$161.50 for one-way and $27.60-$171.60 for roundtrip flights. View more information on taxes and fees. Award flight fares also do not include fees for oversized/overweight/extra baggage and other fees for products/services sold separately. View baggage fees and other optional services and fees. Taxes and fees must be paid at time of award flight booking and are subject to change as required by law.

Just log in to your TrueBlue account to learn more about buying points, gifting points or transferring points (to another member) at a cost. Please note that these points can be used towards award redemptions but do not earn tiles.
