Using Premium Upgrade Certificates
Here’s how it works:
- Sign into your TrueBlue account.
- Search for a flight.

Select an upgrade-eligible route and proceed to select a Main, Main Flex, EvenMore, or EvenMore Flex fare for your desired flight.

You’ll see the number of Premium Upgrade Certificates required while you search for your flight, within the booking flow listed above the fares.

Complete your reservation.

Once you've selected your flight and all desired extras, finish paying for your booking.

Apply the certificates.

Visit Manage Trips.

Find your reservation and select Premium Upgrade Certificates.

Apply the certificates and pay applicable taxes (for select routes only). You’ll receive an updated confirmation.

Please note: You can apply your certificates any time before check-in, up to 2 hours before departure.

Certificate Expiration
Certificates must be booked by their expiration date. Once the expiration date has passed, changes to the flight cannot be made.
To check your certificate(s) expiration:
- Sign in to your TrueBlue account.
- Your certificates will appear in “My Dashboard”.
- The expiration date will be listed on each certificate.
FAQs
You can use your certificates for yourself and others included in the same reservation. However, certificates cannot be used for others if the certificate holder is not traveling on the same reservation. Certificates cannot be gifted or transferred.
Certificates must be booked by their expiration date, but changes to the flight cannot be made after they have expired. Any changes would result in a downgrade or loss of applied certificates.
Certificates can be applied from the time of booking confirmation up to 2 hours before departure.
Please contact dedicated Mosaic support to remove certificates. If you need to cancel a flight, please do so through Manage Trips before the time of departure and the certificates will be redeposited back into your account.
As a TrueBlue member, you earn tiles with every purchase on eligible flights, JetBlue Vacations packages, and TrueBlue travel. Earn 150 tiles to reach Mosaic 3 and qualify for 4 Premium Upgrade Certificates. Reach Mosaic 4 for 4 additional certificates, and continue to earn 2 more for every additional 100 tiles earned. You can use your certificates as soon as you reach Mosaic 3.

Premium Upgrade Certificates let you confirm your spot in the premium cabin on any eligible route, with no exclusions on dates or times.

The only out-of-pocket cost will be taxes.

The number of certificates needed are dynamic and depend on factors like route, date, and time of day.

Your certificates apply toward the premium cabin available on your specific flight — either Mint or BlueFirst. The cabin offered depends on the route and aircraft.
Premium Upgrade Certificates exclude Base fares including Main Base and EvenMore Base fares, as well as group bookings. Unaccompanied minors are not allowed in Mint or BlueFirst. While pets are not allowed in Mint, they are allowed in BlueFirst.
Full points bookings and Cash + Points bookings are eligible for Premium Upgrade Certificates.
If you have already upgraded and want to Same-Day Switch, you should first change to the desired flight using Manage Trips and then re-apply your Premium Upgrade Certificates, if there are sufficient premium cabin seats and certificates available. The number of certificates needed may differ.
Note: Premium Upgrade Certificates must be booked by their expiration date. Additional applicable taxes may apply at checkout. Certificate(s) can only be used to upgrade from a Main or EvenMore seat to a Mint or BlueFirst seat on routes where premium cabin seats are available. The Premium Upgrade Certificate holder must be traveling in order to use certificate(s). Premium Upgrade Certificates cannot be redeemed in connection with certain bookings including, but not limited to, Main Base and EvenMore Base fares, group bookings, bookings made with a corporate or government discount, bookings made with other airlines even if they include a JetBlue segment, and––for upgrades to Mint––bookings with pets. Certificates cannot be used for upgrades directly into Mint Studio® seats, even if only such premium seats are available. Customers who have used Premium Upgrade Certificate(s) who no-show for the flight without canceling the booking before the time of departure will forfeit the certificate(s) and applicable taxes, except where prohibited by law. Certificates and applicable additional taxes will be recredited to customers who have used Premium Upgrade Certificate(s) if the flight is canceled or operated by substituted equipment on which the premium cabin is not available. If a customer has already upgraded and wants to Same-Day Switch, the customer should first change to the desired flight using Manage Trips and then re-apply the Premium Upgrade Certificates, if there are sufficient premium seats and certificates available. The number of certificates needed may differ.
