Things to do in Florida.

As home to the theme park capital of the world (Orlando) and the southernmost point in the United States (Key West), Florida is a study in superlatives. Florida’s cities and towns range from cosmopolitan to country to downright quirky (Hello, Cassadega, the Psychic Capital of the World!), and if you’re looking for some of the best beaches, forests, or swamps around, you’ll find them all in the Sunshine State. In fact, the only thing Florida doesn’t have is mountains (unless you count Space Mountain, Florida’s oldest operating roller coaster). Maybe they should rename it the Superlative State.

Where we fly in Florida.

Daytona Beach

The official home of Spring Break and the iconic Daytona 500, this beach town on Florida’s Fun Coast is a motorsport mecca and headquarters of NASCAR.

Fort Lauderdale

Sure, it’s minutes from the famed Strip and beaches, but did you know that Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is also the ideal jumping-off point for exploring Miami, the Florida Keys, the Everglades and the rest of South Florida?

Fort Myers

With coastal charm, a bustling downtown and historic estates, Fort Myers hits it out of the park. And don’t even get us started on JetBlue Park, home of the Boston Red Sox spring training.

Jacksonville

With 270 days of sunshine, family fun, nature preserves and nearby tailgating—Jacksonville delivers, whether you’re a sun-seeker or a fun-seeker (or both).

Miami Area

Soak up the sun and star power of South Beach or one of dozens of beaches on Miami Beach. Follow your art at the Wynwood Walls and Coconut Grove. Take in the local flavor in Little Havana, or take a drive to the Everglades and the Florida Keys.

Orlando

Theme park. Water park. Rinse. Repeat. With endless family-friendly attractions and activities, Orlando gets an A+ from all ages. Plus, our home at MCO’s Terminal C is the perfect launch pad to Port Canaveral and the rest of Central Florida.

Sarasota

Located at the southern end of the Tampa Bay area, Sarasota’s sandy Gulf Coast beaches (including nearby Siesta Key), golf courses, and iconic examples of Italian architecture, including the Ringling Museum of Art, make it a top choice.

Tampa

Encompassing Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater, the Tampa Bay area offers miles of white-sand beaches and barrier islands along Florida’s central Gulf Coast. Tampa is also a major business and corporate center, and host dozens of annual events, including the Gasparilla Pirate Festival.

Vero Beach

Strike gold with the Treasure Coast’s crown jewel, Vero Beach. From (practically) private beaches and world-class golf to water sports by the boatload, it’s a paradise for beach bums and thrill-seekers alike. A short drive away, Port St. Lucie, Jensen Beach and Stuart offer a trove of beaches, outdoor adventures and attractions.

West Palm Beach/The Palm Beaches

Whether you’re in the mood for luxe or laid-back (or both!), the coast is clear for endless R&R. The Palm Beaches boast dozens of towns and beaches, hundreds of golf courses, and the most sought-after chefs and spas.Â
