Special assistance

JetBlue welcomes the opportunity to provide caring customer service to our customers with disabilities. In order to provide the assistance for your unique travel needs, JetBlue recommends the following:

  1. Make your reservation as early as possible.
  2. JetBlue's online booking tool now allows you to add your own special service request so you can let JetBlue know what services you need.
  3. If you need to add a special service request to an existing reservation, please call 1-800-JETBLUE (538-2583) for assistance. There is never a booking fee charged when adding special services.
  4. JetBlue offers assistance specific to your needs through the Disability Assistance Line. Call 1-855-ADA-LINE (232-5463) or email dearjetblue@jetblue.comopens in default email application for any assistance with your JetBlue reservation or travel.
  5. Let the airport crewmembers know of your requests when you check in or arrive at the gate.

Wheelchair assistance

Be sure to let JetBlue know if you need a wheelchair in any of our destinations to help ensure a better JetBlue experience.

Boarding process and disability seating

If you need assistance, be sure to let our gate agents know if you need to pre-board your JetBlue flight.

Service animal travel

JetBlue welcomes service and emotional support animals in the cabin at no additional charge. Customers will be asked at the station to verify the service the animal provides.

Customers with cognitive disabilities

JetBlue recognizes the challenges associated with cognitive disabilities such as dementia, Down syndrome, autism and Alzheimer's. Please let JetBlue know what assistance is needed to provide the best travel experience.
