The Animal Flower Cave
Located under the North Point cliffs in St. Lucy parish, the Animal Flower Cave is the only accessible sea cave in Barbados. Discovered by two English explorers in 1780, the cave is estimated to be 400,000-500,000 years old. The walls of the cave have been colored green and brown by oxidation of copper and iron, creating a mystic feel inside the caves. With spectacular views looking out to the ocean, some pools in the cave are even deep enough for a nice, chill swim.
