At JetBlue Airways ("JetBlue" or "we" or "us"), we respect your privacy. That is why we would like you to know what information about you may be collected when you use a JetBlue website (,, their respective subdomains, and any other website owned, operated and/or controlled by JetBlue), the JetBlue mobile application and related mobile services, JetBlue's onboard wireless services, JetBlue's in-flight entertainment system or other services linking to this page (all, collectively, the "JetBlue Online Services"). We also want to make sure you understand how your information is protected and how it could be used. Please take a moment to read the following questions and answers, which describe our online privacy and security practices in more detail. By using the JetBlue Online Services, you agree to this policy and the practices it describes. JetBlue reserves the right, at any time, to change this policy, in whole or in part, in its sole discretion. Please review this policy periodically to ensure you are aware of any changes and are familiar with the most current version.

What information do we collect?
When you use the JetBlue Online Services, your information and activity data is collected in several ways.

First, when you engage with certain JetBlue Online Services, you will be asked to affirmatively provide some information about yourself. For example (and this is not an exhaustive list), you may be asked to provide certain personally identifiable information, such as your name, home address, e-mail address, and/or telephone number(s), when you register with TrueBlue; book a flight, Getaways vacation package or make another travel booking; purchase merchandise; or sign up for a sweepstakes or other promotion. You also may be asked to provide information about where you like to travel or other information about your preferences and behavior. If you make a purchase of any kind, you may be asked to provide your credit card number, billing information and/or other payment information.

Second, when you use the JetBlue Online Services, some information about your online activity may be automatically collected through the use of servers and other technologies. For example, JetBlue may use "cookies," which are small pieces of information that the JetBlue Online Services transfer to the hard drive of a visitor's (your) computer for record-keeping and tracking purposes. Through servers and other technology, JetBlue may collect and track the following information: the domain name of the site providing you with internet access, the internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet, your browser type and version, operating system and platform, mobile-device type, wireless carrier, the average time you spent engaging with a JetBlue Online Service, pages viewed, information searched for, access times, geo-location information, and/or other information and relevant statistics. These tracking technologies also allow us to determine unique preferences and trends based on a visitor’s use of the JetBlue Online Services, as well as that visitor’s use of third party online services participating in the same advertising network as JetBlue. For example, cookies and other tracking technologies may be used by JetBlue and its third-party ad management companies to learn things like which advertisements, emails, websites or other online content brings users to our JetBlue Online Services and to advertise JetBlue products and services to you while you are on other websites based on your browsing or other online activities. For information about removing yourself from these tracking and reporting functions, please first visit the Adobe opt-out page at You should also visit these links to prevent any information from being recorded in a session on the JetBlue Online Services: (English) or (Spanish).

Please also note that most browsers have options that allow the visitor to control whether the browser will accept cookies, reject cookies, or notify the visitor each time a cookie is sent, but setting a browser to reject cookies will limit the range of features available to the visitor on our JetBlue Online Services, and rejecting or disabling cookies will not necessarily limit all forms of the JetBlue Online Services tracking technologies and methodologies.

By connecting to the JetBlue Online Services with a third-party platform (e.g., Facebook), you give us permission to access and use information, content and/or material you have supplied to that platform as permitted by the platform, and to store your log-in credentials for the platform.

How do we use the information we collect?
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we use it only in accordance with this policy.

We use the information we collect about you (described above) to complete transactions, respond to your requests, verify if a visitor meets any criteria in order to process a request, advertise, maintain and optimize the JetBlue Online Services, and notify you of promotions, updates or special offers, including JetBlue affiliate (like TrueBlue partner) offers, that we think may interest you. We also use your information to provide you with a more effective and personalized customer experience across all of our JetBlue Online Services and to serve you with advertisements and other information appropriate to you and your interests. We may also use your information off line to provide you services as well, including without limitation, customer service, in flight services, and booking services. For example, some of your information is collected so that when you visit a particular JetBlue Online Service more than once, the JetBlue Online Service will recognize you. JetBlue and our ad management companies will use your information, such as browsing and other online activities, to target advertising to you while you are using JetBlue Online Services or other websites that we think will be of interest to you. Some of this advertising may be designed to bring you back to our JetBlue Online Services. For more information about your ad choices associated with this type of advertising and options to opt out, please visit this website from the Digital Advertising Alliance:

In order to accomplish all of those things, we may process your information or combine it with other information that we have about you or that is publicly available, and we also may share your information with other companies that are carefully selected by JetBlue to assist in these uses. Please see Could anyone other than JetBlue be collecting and using my information? below for information on how these other companies may collect and use your information.

To the extent permitted or required by applicable law, we may disclose personally identifiable information to US or non-US government authorities or agencies or other third parties pursuant to a law, rule or regulation, legal request, subpoena, or other legal process or requirement.

We may also use or disclose your information (including to third party companies) to perform charge verifications, report or collect debts owed, fight fraud, or protect the rights or property of JetBlue, our customers, our third-party service providers, our affiliate companies, our JetBlue Online Services or its users.
