Veterans Advantage1

Vets enrolled in Veterans Advantage receive a 5% discount on everyday JetBlue travel to 95+ destinations. Those enrolled in TrueBlue also qualify to earn TrueBlue points on travel booked with the discounted fare. Learn more about how you can take advantage of the discount hereopens in a new window.

Military discount2

As part of our support and appreciation for those in military service, we offer a special military fare class (MIL) for active duty military personnel not traveling on orders. This does not provide a percentage discount, but it removes any advanced-purchase requirements, which may result in a lower fare in the event that the advanced-purchase price has expired. Our military crewmembers

We're committed to hiring and supporting service members and military veterans. Our Vets in Blue initiative aims to fulfill this commitment through veteran-focused recruitment efforts, veteran networking events and veteran mentoring opportunities.

Veteran recruitment efforts

We want to hire military vets! The experience vets gain during their service makes them ideal candidates to work at JetBlue. Since 2012, our Vets in Blue recruitment initiative has focused on hiring those who selflessly served our country. Currently, JetBlue employs over 1,200 military veterans. They work in all areas of the company - from first officers and flight attendants to finance and customer support. Look for our Vets in Blue lapel pin that identifies our military veteran crewmembers. Vets interested in careers at JetBlue should checkout our career page!

Our Vets in Blue initiative includes a commitment to support new crewmembers in their transition from a military career to a career at JetBlue. JetBlue's VetConnect program matches newly hired military vets with seasoned crewmembers who served in the military prior to coming to JetBlue. The mentor and mentee discuss career development, transition into civilian life, resources for veterans offered by JetBlue and much more.

Vets in Blue Crewmember Resource Group

Vets in Blue

The Vets in Blue Crewmember Resource Group provides a forum for crewmembers that honorably serve or have served in the Armed Forces of the United States. Military supporters working at JetBlue can also join the group. The Vets in Blue Crewmember Resource Group champions JetBlue's veteran-related initiatives. It provides support during veteran hiring fairs, raises awareness of the importance of veterans in our organization and provides support and assistance to veterans working at JetBlue.

JetBlue Veterans Career Expo

JetBlue's talent acquisition team hosts annual career expos for military veterans. At these events, vets gain exposure to JetBlue's hiring strategy and attend developmental workshops aimed at helping attendees advance their careers. As a result of these expos, JetBlue makes dozens of job offers to military vets!

100,000 Jobs Mission

JetBlue holds a membership in the 100,000 Job Mission coalition, a group of companies with the collective goal of hiring 200,000 transitioning service members and military veterans by 2020. Since its launch in 2011, the 100,000 Jobs Mission coalition has hired over 225,000 vets! We could not be more proud to contribute to this effort. Our military communities

We partner with community organizations that support military members and veterans. JetBlue's Terminal 5 at JFK even houses a USO center that provides a variety of resources to military members and veterans passing through our terminal.
