Presidential Announcement on Cuba Policy Changes | June 16, 2017

Last Updated: 6/23/2017 3:00 AM ET

JetBlue is committed to continuing air service between the U.S. and Cuba. We plan to operate in full compliance with the President’s new policy. We will review the policy and the specific regulations once they are available to determine any impact to our operations or to our customers.

The Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has issued guidance on the new regulations, which will be issued in the “coming months” (OFAC, June 16). Customers with questions on whether they are allowed to travel under the new policy will need to self-determine if they are qualified to travel, just as they do now. Customers should check for information as it becomes available and refer to the OFAC FAQs regarding these changes.

All JetBlue flights between the U.S. and Cuba will continue as scheduled at this time. Customers who booked travel prior to the President’s announcement on June 16 should consult the OFAC FAQ for additional guidance.

Customers who need additional support can contact us at 1-800-JETBLUE (538-2583) for assistance.
