Northeast fee waiver

Due to inclement weather forecasted to impact the Northeast region, we will waive change/cancel fees and fare differences for customers traveling Friday, March 31 through Saturday April, 1, 2017 to/from the following cities:

  • Albany, NY (ALB)
  • Boston, MA (BOS)
  • Burlington, VT (BTV)
  • Hartford, CT (BDL)
  • Newburgh, NY (SWF)
  • Newark, NJ (EWR)
  • New York, NY (JFK)
  • New York, NY (LGA)
  • Portland, ME (PWM)
  • Providence, RI (PVD)
  • Westchester County, NY (HPN)
  • Worcester, MA (ORH)

All customers traveling to/from the airports listed above are encouraged to check the status of their flight online prior to leaving for the airport. Customers with web-enabled cell phones and PDAs may check the status of their flight at mobile.jetblue.com.

Rebooking terms & conditions

Customers may rebook their flights for travel through Tuesday, April 4, 2017 online in the ‘Manage Flights’ section of jetblue.com or by calling 1-800-JETBLUE (538-2583) prior to the departure time of their originally scheduled flight. Customers with cancelled flights may also opt for a refund to the original form of payment.  Original travel must have been booked on or before Thursday, March 30, 2017.  

JFK runway construction

The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ) is leading a federally mandated runway improvement project at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) through mid-November 2017. During construction, runway usage will be impacted and customers traveling on all airlines operating at JFK may experience extended taxi times and delays.

As always, we recommend you check the status of your flight online or via the JetBlue app prior to arriving at the airport.

Immediate FAA ban on Samsung Galaxy Note 7

Please be advised, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a complete ban on all Samsung Galaxy Note 7 mobile devices for all air carriers following recent incidents and potential safety concerns. In accordance with FAA guidance and effective Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 12:00 PM ET, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices will not be permitted in checked or carry-on baggage, and may not be carried onboard any JetBlue flight. Customers traveling with these devices will not be permitted to travel.

Zika virus

Customers traveling to/from destinations reported by the CDC to be affected by the Zika virus may qualify to make changes to their current travel plans to alternate destinations or travel dates. Customers may also opt for a refund. Original travel must have been booked on or before August 31, 2016. Please contact us by phone to request a change or refund.
