Arenal Volcano and Rainforest Walk

Rincon de la Vieja Park Hiking
At over 6,200 feet high, Rincon de la Vieja is a towering volcano with nine extraordinary eruption points. It is part of the Guanacaste Mountain Range and one of the most active volcanoes in Costa Rica. The hike is a rigorous, but spectacular adventure around the area of Las Pailas. Over 300 species of birds, three different species of monkeys and other extraordinary animals have been recorded within the park. Rincon de la Vieja Park also protects the largest population of wild purple orchids, which is Costa Rica's national flower. This tour is provided by Swiss Travel Costa Rica.

I Lava You
One of Central America's most impressive volcanoes, the Arenal Volcano is one the youngest and most active in Costa Rica and one of the ten most active volcanoes in the world. Not your grade school science fair project, this 5,437-feet tall volcano erupts on a daily basis offering viewers sudden explosions complete with rumbling and glowing orange lava flows.
