One tequila, two tequila...
Mexico is famous for its tequila — a distilled spirit made from the blue agave plant. Tequila is widely available throughout Mexico, and Cancun is no exception. Along Avenida Kukulkan, there are many establishments which not only sell the beverage, but also allow you to learn more about the different kinds of tequila through tastings held daily. Tequila is also served in nearly every restaurant in Cancun, so you’ll be able to enjoy your new favorite beverage throughout your entire vacation!
Eat like royalty
Life on the beach might be easy, but with so many great places to eat in Cancun, your food decisions might be a little more difficult! Hundreds of restaurants serve fresh, delicious meals, so we recommend trying as many as possible! Authentic Mexican dishes include Cemitas (sandwiches stuffed with meat, sliced avocado, cheese and onions) and Entomatadas (folded corn tortilla, fried in oil and topped with a spicy tomato sauce). It is worth noting that the Cancun hotel zone has restaurants which cater to almost all dietary restrictions/needs, including vegan and gluten-free restaurants.
Enjoy a phenomenal Caribbean sunset over the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico while indulging in the finest food that Cancun has to offer! Many dinner cruise operators even offer an open bar with dinner, so you're sure to have a great time! After dinner, head ashore and check out some of Cancun's famous nightlife.
