Xtraordinary
The most famous of all eco-archaeological parks, Xcaret features underground rivers, a butterfly pavilion, turtle farm, interactive aquarium, horse-back riding, bug museum, dolphin center and more. Golfer It
Designed in 1976, by Robert Trent Jones Jr., Pok ta Pok is the oldest and most prestigious Golf Club in Cancun. It artistically incorporates hundreds of meters of dramatic shoreline and a wealth of archeological treasures dating back to the ancient Mayas. Pok ta Pok features a fantastic 18-hole championship golf course, a driving range, 2 practice putting greens, 3 tennis courts, a pro shop which offers rental equipment, on-course beverage service and a restaurant/bar with panoramic views of the Nichupte Lagoon and the hotel zone.

Itza-mazing
One of the largest and most fascinating sites in Mexico, mighty Chichen Itza, is also one of the more impressive pyramids in the world. Its towering El Castillo has four sides with 365 steps (depicting the solar year), 52 panels (for each year in the Mayan century), 18 terraces (for the eighteen months in the religious year) and a temple. The gigantic ball court at Chichen Itza is the largest ever discovered and is lined with fascinating carvings. There's also a sacred well, an observatory, the imposing Temple of Warriors, the Nunnery, and dozens of other structures. Arrive early to beat the crowds.

La Isla Bonita
An enchanted and peaceful place with a laid-back atmosphere, Isla Mujeres is home to a few restaurants, some funky bars, lots of beaches and many activities and attractions including Dolphin Discovery encounters, submarine excursions, snorkeling, diving, kayaks, pedal boats, the Eco Caribe Turtle Hatchery, a lighthouse, Mayan ruins and the Mundaca Hacienda, an enormous estate built by an aging pirate in hopes of winning the heart of an island girl. The island is also famous for its gold jewelry and wonderful little shops. You can get to Isla Mujeres by car ferry, fast boat or tourist boat. Mopeds, bicycles and golf carts are available for rental.

Souvenirs from Paradise
A huge place filled with traditional handicrafts, souvenirs, goods and more, Mercado 28 (Market 28) is the place to go if you want to experience a typical Mexican market. At this popular souvenir market you will find more than 100 stores and shops will lots of them selling many of the same items found in the hotel zone, but at half the price. Mercado 28 also has an Internet café, a post office and typical Mexican food from fresh seafood to traditional tacos. Located in downtown Cancun off Yaxchilan and Sunyaxchen Aves.

Wide Open Spaces
An open-air mall with more than 150 specialty shopping and entertainment retailers, La Isla Shopping Village is the most recent and important entertainment center in Cancun, with a stunning architecture resembling a Caribbean village and divided by an astonishing river which flows up to the Nichupte lagoon. Here you will find popular retailers like Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY, Bvlgari, Nine West, and Guess, plus jewellery, restaurants, night clubs, movie theatres, a climbing wall, the Interactive Aquarium, and MayaVentura, an interactive labyrinth.
