Getting to and from JFK

Construction on our fantastic new terminal, in combination with already-heavy airport traffic, is creating major traffic delays on JFK roadways, so the best way to get to and from JFK is via the AirTrain. The AirTrain JFK light-rail system connects the Central Terminal Area, including JetBlue's Terminal 6, to New York City subway and Long Island Railroad (LIRR) stations as well as the long-term parking, Kiss 'N Fly and Cell Phone Pick Up lots. AirTrain is a service of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. For more information, click here.

Subway: Take the AirTrain to the Jamaica or Howard Beach stations for subway service to New York City. You may connect to the E, J or Z subway lines at Jamaica (Sutphin-Archer Avenue station) or the A subway line at Howard Beach station. The AirTrain JFK fare to/from the airport terminals and the Jamaica or Howard Beach stations is $5 per person.

Long Island Railroad (LIRR): Take the AirTrain to the Jamaica station for Long Island Railroad commuter rail service to Long Island and New York City. The AirTrain JFK fare to/from the airport terminals and the Jamaica station is $5 per person.
Regular transit fares apply for subway and LIRR trains in addition to the AirTrain fare.

Kiss 'N Fly: Avoid parking costs and airport traffic and get dropped off and picked up at the free Kiss 'N Fly lot, located at the Lefferts Blvd. exit off the Van Wyck Expressway. From there customers can hop on the AirTrain and ride for free to all airport terminals.

Cell Phone Pick Up Lot:: If you're picking up travelers, save gas and avoid traffic and tedious circling by pulling into the free Cell Phone lot, located off the Van Wyck Expressway's Federal Circle exit, to wait for your passenger to call and announce their arrival.

Parking:: A short-term parking garage is available at Terminal 4, which is serving as JetBlue's parking lot while the garage at Terminal 6 is being renovated. A long-term parking lot is located at Federal Circle where customers can take the AirTrain for free service to the airport terminals.
