JetBlue Passengers Join The Mile High (City) Club With New Nonstop Service Between Denver And NYC

Airline Offers Brand New Planes, Leather Seats, Free Inseat Satellite TV And Fares Up to 79% Less Than The Competition

New York, NY, 05/17/2001 -- JetBlue's regular fares between New York and Denver range between $129 and $249 each way. The $249 walk-up fare represents savings of up to 79% of walk-up fares on other carriers serving the route nonstop. Flights from Denver to New York City will also make convenient round-trip connections to all JetBlue's four northeastern destinations with fares as low as $149 each way. JetBlue is the only nonstop carrier on the route that does not charge a fuel surcharge.

"Denver is the fifth city in the west to be introduced to JetBlue's low-fare, nonstop service to the east coast," said David Neeleman, CEO of JetBlue Airways. "These flights save travelers both time and money. With our late evening departures, travelers can put in a full day at work or play at either end of the trip, and our low fares and great service mean that savings don't have to mean skimping on little luxuries, like leather seats and free satellite TV."
