JetBlue Launches Service Between New York City And West Palm Beach, FL

Airline Features New Planes, Leather Seats, and Satellite TV from Just $79 Each Way

New York, NY, 10/18/2000 -- “New Yorkers are savvy travelers. JetBlue’s one-way fares between JFK and West Palm Beach range from $79 to $99, for a 14-day advance purchase, and from $119 to $139, for a seven-day advance purchase. The airline’s “walk-up” fares are up to $179 each way, representing savings of up to 42% over other airlines.

For JetBlue’s upstate New York and Vermont passengers, one-way fares from Buffalo, Rochester, NY, and Burlington, VT, to West Palm Beach range from $99 to $199 each way.

JetBlue’s schedule to West Palm Beach starting October 18 will be:

From JFK, JetBlue also flies: five times daily to Fort Lauderdale, FL, Buffalo, NY and Rochester, NY; three times daily to Orlando and Tampa, Fl; twice daily to Burlington, VT, and daily to Los Angeles/Ontario and San Francisco/Oakland, CA.

The airline will launch service to two additional cities from JFK before the end of this year: daily service to Salt Lake City, UT, on November 17; and daily service to Fort Myers, Fl, on November 18.

JetBlue currently operates 50 flights a day with a fleet of nine brand new, environmentally-friendly Airbus A320 aircraft, outfitted with roomy all-leather seats each equipped with LiveTV, offering 24-channel satellite television at every seat. LiveTV is available free of charge to all JetBlue passengers. The airline will serve 12 cities with 10 new aircraft by the end of the year.
