A window seat onboard JetBlue provides a great bird’s-eye view of our work in progress, Terminal 5, JetBlue’s future home at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Our new terminal, to be completed in late 2008, will support 500 daily departures and arrivals, doubling our current operating capacity at JFK and making the signature JetBlue Experience even more memorable. The $800 million building will put customers first with its unique check-in lobby design, fresh concession concepts, and a 20-lane security checkpoint—one of the largest in the U.S. Outside, Terminal 5 will feature convenient roadway connections, a 1500-space parking structure, and direct access to the JFK AirTrain via a connecting bridge.

Our new home is adjacent and connected to JFK’s landmark Terminal 5, commonly known as "the TWA terminal.” Millions of travelers flowed through the modernist terminal—which architect Eero Saarinen designed to be a physical symbol of air travel—until the terminal was decommissioned in 2001. JetBlue is committed to reviving this important piece of aviation history and making it even better with our new 26-gate terminal. There’s no place like our new home—and we’re looking forward to welcoming you into it next year.
